Ep. 49 A lesson in humanity
Service is essential. We recently just got back from a trip in Mexico. It was a difficult decision of deciding whether we should go or not, but we realized something. They REALLY need us. They depend on us and serving them is essential.
With following all the protocols of social distancing, masks, and sanitizing we were able to go and serve people in a very safe environment. It was on this trip that I had a couple lessons of humility.
- Through the most chaotic times, stay calm
- Don’t play the victim role
- Don’t become entitled
I go through each of these lessons and I share a personal story that happened on our way home that truly impacted me. I want to choose humility. I want to choose to put others first. I hope this episode gives you a hope.
